UX/UI Designer

During my short contract with Transport for NSW, I was responsible for the UI delivery of the Mega Map project, which included designing new user flows and comps in Sketch for:
Opal card retailers
Trainlink sales agents
Live traffic updates
Sydney Olympic Park
Routes & departures
I was also tasked with redesigning the Transport for NSW homepage, trialing a new Sketch based Design System.

These 3 projects all had the same premise. Use the maps available to TFNSW as a way to communicate to passengers where they can find what they’re after by introducing a way to keep them on their current journey (trip planning maps) without directing them away.
This resulted in introducing material design elements such as toasters, side bars and content cards to name but a few. This enabled the user to search what they were after and receive results on the current page without effecting any routes they were planning.
